About Me

As a young child, I was captivated by the pianist who played for my ballet class. My mother, a successful dancer, encouraged me to carry on the family tradition in ballet, yet my fascination was drawn not to dance, but to the piano. I would sit in awe, watching the pianist’s fingers move across the keys, feeling an overwhelming urge to try it myself. During rare visits to my cousin’s house, I would listen intently as she practiced, repeating a simple piece over and over. One day, after she’d left the room, I seized the chance to play. To my parents’ amazement, I played the piece exactly as I’d heard it—a moment that sparked the start of my musical journey.

By age 15, I had achieved Grade 8 in piano and Grade 7 in violin, soon completing my Grade 8 in violin as well. Later, I earned my diploma in piano performance and taught music professionally. With over 15 years of teaching experience and a PGCE, I am passionate about passing on my love of music to my students. If you, too, have a passion, never give up on it. Embrace every opportunity to grow musically, and you may find yourself on a journey as rewarding as mine.
